"On your wedding day, you should look like you at your most beautiful"
BRIDAL MAKE UP CONSULTATION
On your initial consultation, we will work out how to transform you into the most beautiful version of yourself - with make up that ‘brings out’ your best features, correcting any imperfections you are unhappy with. You can relax knowing that you will be taken care of and will receive the best possible guidance and advice. Make up is individual to every woman. We all like different styles and have different needs, but in our experience, most brides have key things in common including good coverage that feels lightweight and natural. Flawless looking skin that glows and is camera friendly is top of our list! We also make sure every bride’s make up is durable and will withstand the demands of your wedding day. Having the same person do your bridal make up and hair logistically makes things more straightforward. The Make My Day team can ensure one compliment the other - although it's not essential if you just want one or the other.
BRIDAL MAKE UP TRIAL
A bridal make up trial is an essential part of your wedding prep. It allows you to explore your ideas about how you want to look. It is an exciting moment for any bride to see our combined ideas come to life. Your bridal make up trial gives us time to establish what it is you want and need. Some brides have a clear idea of how they want to look, so are likely to only need one trial. Many brides, however, want to experiment with different bridal looks, often needing more than one trial. It's important to remember that your trial is also the time to work out all the things you don't like, for some brides, it is crossing things off the list rather than ticking them off. Ultimately finding out what you don't like is vital to find what you love!
Your bridal make up trial usually lasts approx. 1/1.5 hours. During this time, Suezanna will do a skin analysis and one bridal make up look. Please be aware if you wish to make the trial longer than 1.5 hrs on the day every 30 minutes thereafter is chargeable. Having a trial means you can then relax: we have your bridal look perfected saving you time and worry on your wedding morning. All that is then left to do on your big day is recreate that perfect look. On your bridal trial, it is advisable to be fresh-faced, with no make up on, although not essential. It is helpful to look at what make up looks you like prior to the trial, pictures for reference are always useful.

Responsibility of the client
BRIDAL TRIAL
Trials are priced in accordance with the time taken to complete the bridal look. Clients will be made aware of how much time is needed for their trial in advance. Any delay in time due to the client will result in further charges, as explained at the time of booking. It is the client's responsibility to make sure they arrive on time for their appointments. On the wedding day, It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the timings specified for the hair and make up are met. In the event of a delay caused by the bridal party, completion of the hair and makeup will be at Make My Day's discretion. Any party members that don't adhere to the specified timings, causing delays, may result in their make-up and hair being forfeited.
To carry out our work to the best of our ability we will need natural light, adequate space and we may also need seating to accommodate more than one member of the bridal party at a time. We may also need plug sockets for any electrical appliances and work surfaces to place our kit.
Information about any allergies and/or skin complaints (etc) in the bridal party is ultimately down to the client to provide prior to the wedding. If any treatments cannot be carried out on the day due to allergies that were not mentioned prior, there will be no refund.

An exclusivity fee can be arranged to secure your artist for the day.
