At Make My Day we have a team of talented and dedicated creatives who want to make you look land feel like you on your best day for all your special occasion's. All of our artists have been cherry picked by our Creative Director, Suezanna who has 20 years experience in the Industry. She looks for individuals much like herself who are passionate about make up and providing clients with the best experience and service possible. The studio has a fun and vibrant atmosphere with each artist team member delivering a little bit of their own personality and expertise. Our aim is to empower every woman that walks through the door. It is not just about creating beautiful make up at Make My Day.

 

 

With special occasion make up that makes you look and feel like the best version of yourself Make My Day helps you take the stress out of getting ready. Most of our clients end up returning regularly for makeovers. Every team member receives regular training to keep them up to date with current trends and new products on the market. At the studio, we have an extensive make up kit packed full of industry favourites including brands like Mac, Georgio Armarni, Urban Decay, Milani, Nars, Benefit, Peaches and Cream, Laura Mercier, Anastasia Beverley Hills, YSL, Huda, Tatti Lashes  and more.

How far in advance should I make my make up appointment?

We recommend you book your appontment early to avoid dissapointment. 

How do I prepare for my make up appointment?

Ideally you will come for your appointment bare faced and make up free, however if this is not possible we can remove your make up for you. 24 hours prior to your appointment you may want to think about exfoliating any dry skin on your face paying special attention to your nose if this is a problem area. If your lips are dry you may want to prepare with a lip scrub. If you are stuck for skin care we have a range of products available directly from the studio. If you would like a skincare consultation which includes a full skin analysis and product recommendations tell a member of the team when booking your make up appointment. It is also useful if browse our gallery or online for reference images of make up you like prior to your appointment, this will help us recreate a look you love. 

How long will my make-up appointment last?

Depending on what make up look you go for your appointment will be either 45 minutes for a more natural make up or up to 60/75 minutes for a full glam make up. When you contact us to make a booking we will establish what make up look you would like and how long we will need to complete it. 

How much will my make-up cost?

The price of your make up will firstly depend on what make up look you want to have done and how long it takes to complete. Secondly, it will depend on which artist you would like to do your make up.  As a general guide: In order of cost firstly we have natural make up which will cost the least, then in the next price bracket we have the soft glam make up looks and finally, the full glam make up looks which cost the most. To save any confusion it is best to determine the time needed for your desired make up look with a team member on booking. Please refer to our price list below for a full breakdown of all the different make up looks/costing.

Do I need to bring my own make up?

We have a vast range of products to suit different skin types and colours. We do also try to stock products that are hypoallergenic where possible. However, if you have any preferences or allergies then please feel free to bring anything from your own make up collection that you may want us to use on you.

What can I say!! Suezanna is amazing.
